BREAKING: Kings Extend Defenseman
The LA Kings made a major trade yesterday to clear cap room. They've now used up that cap room to extend Vladislav Gavrikov.
Two Years for Gavrikov
The word was that Vladislav Gavrikov only wanted a two year deal. Clearly the Kings relented and gave him the term he wanted.
The two-year deal reportedly carries an annual average value of $5.875-million.
Gavrikov was acquired by the Kings alongside Joonas Korpisalo at the trade deadline.
