The Los Angeles Kings took part in the massive three-way deal that went on yesterday in the NHL.

Now, they've made another roster move.
Kings Extend Top Defenseman
Per Puck Empire on Instagram:
"The #Kings 🇺🇸 are putting the finishing touches together to sign defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov (@gavrikov_vlad) 🇷🇺 to a two-year extension worth "around" $5.8M AAV ($11.6M total) 💰
Gavrikov, 27, had six goals, 19 points through 72 games played with Columbus & Los Angeles last season."
No Brainer
Gavrikov was traded at the last deadline from Columbus to LA for a first round pick in 2023, a third round pick in 2024 and Jonathan Quick.
It's a no brainer for the Kings. Gavrikov has been excellent since he joined the team and now, they get to keep him for two more years at a reasonable price.
