The 2nd leading scorer of all time has hinted at a return to the NHL with the team that originally drafted him back in 1990.
Jagr Hints at Possible NHL Return in Recent Social Media Post
Jaromir Jagr is arguably the greatest European hockey player of all time and is still playing professional hockey at the age of 51. While he is playing in the Czech league, it is still professional hockey and he is playing against people half his age for the most part.
In an Instagram post today, Jagr hinted at a possible NHL return.
While it is unlikely that the return will be playing in the NHL (while he certainly could score a few goals if a team took a chance on him), an NHL return could happen as a coach or as a manager.
The Penguins Are Currently Searching For a New GM
While Jagr likely would not be the Penguins' GM, he could return in the front office. Jagr has a fantastic relationship with part owner and former linemate Mario Lemieux.
The two could team up once again in the front office to help the Penguins win a championship with their new GM and Jagr could continue to be an ambassador for the sport of hockey.
