Anton Khudobin has been a very serviceable NHL goaltender throughout his career mainly serving as a backup but looks to get a starter role overseas.

Khudobin Leaves NHL For Russia

Throughout his 14-year NHL career, Anton Khudobin has been quite serviceable. Posting a career SV% of .916 and a GAA of 2.52, Khudobin has proven he is worthy of playing at the top level.

Mainly a backup, having never played over half of a total season, Khudobin has shown a capability to be consistent despite struggling with injuries.

A Kazakhstan native, Khudobin has many ties to the KHL and Russia.

Lada, a VHL (Russian AHL) team based in Russia could use Khudobin's services given how any NHL experience is valuable at that level of hockey.

While Khudobin does not want to hang up the skates just yet, he will have to prove himself in the VHL is he wants his career to continue further.
