Gary Bettman Fails to Promote Connor McDavid as the Deserving Star He Is
With only one game on tonight, Gary Bettman has shown his refusal to market the league's superstar players.
Bettman Refuses To Market McDavid
Tonight there is only one singular playoff game on. That game is Vegas vs Edmonton which is scheduled to begin at 10 pm Eastern Standard Time. While this is a standard 7 pm Western Standard Time time to start the game, many are wondering why Bettman has not bumped the game up to an earlier start time.
With a large portion of the NHL's fanbase residing outside of the Western time zone, it makes little sense to have the one game start so late. With the face of the league, Connor McDavid, playing in this game as well, it is a prime opportunity to grow the game further.
The tragedy with this is that the game in the timeslot that this game could and should be in is just a random MLB game between two non-rivals.
Once again, Gary Bettman has shown his incompetence in growing the game effectively and keeping the from growing.
