BREAKING: Alex Pietrangelo Receives Suspension
We have our next suspension for this year's NHL playoffs! This time, it will be Alex Pietrangelo of the Vegas Golden Knights sitting out following his actions in last night's game against the Edmonton Oilers.
Pietrangelo Suspended For One Game
The NHL's Department of Player Safety Announced on Thursday that Vegas defenseman Alex Pietrangelo would receive a one game suspension for his slash on Edmonton's Leon Draisaitl.
The play in question was incredibly dangerous, and could've resulted in serious injury to Draisaitl. Watch the incident here:
The Department of Player Safety announced this morning that Pietrangelo would have a hearing on the incident.
The official decision was just announced by the NHL, and it looks like Pietrangelo will be missing a total of one game due to his suspension.
We wonder how this will affect the rest of the series.
