Fan captures video of Toronto GM Kyle Dubas losing it on Lightning faithful
This is something that likely would have been commonplace in the 1970s and 80s. Not so in today's NHL, though. Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas was caught on video losing it on Tampa Bay Lightning fans at Amalie Arena following the incident where Brayden Point went hard into the boards after getting out-muscled by Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly.
It's not exactly clear what's being said, but you can hear Dubas saying "f--k you!" at least twice while pointing at the fans. He was clearly hot over something. Not necessarily the greatest look for an NHL GM, but Dubas is a guy who often wears his emotions on his sleeve.
This series has been a physical battle so far, and I'm guessing things will only get chippier from here on out. Toronto currently has a two games to one lead over the Bolts.
