Canes vs Islanders Games Devolves into Chaos

There is no such thing as a calm and tempered playoff series, but this year feels especially crazy. The Islanders/Hurricanes series appears to be going wild!

At the end of the first period, there was a wild netfront scrum.

Then, when Matt Martin threw a huge hit on Jordan Staal, he proceeded to essentially sit on the Canes' captain!

Clearly the two teams are tense - the Canes as they look to live up to their regular season expectations, and the Islanders as they look to revitalize their playoff energy from 2020 and 2021.

We will see what other antics take place in this wild series!
