4-time Stanley Cup Champion gets put through table on wrestling show

Darren McCarty, a 4-time Stanley Cup Champion, has recently made a name for himself in the professional wrestling world. After starting at the bottom of the independent circuit, McCarty has shown his dedication to the sport by taking on any challenge that comes his way.

During a recent episode of Impact Wrestling, McCarty was attending as an audience member when he was provoked by professional wrestling veteran Bully Ray (also known as Bubba Ray Dudley). Despite putting up a brave fight, McCarty was eventually overpowered by Bully Ray and his allies, culminating in McCarty being put through a table - a signature move of Bully Ray's.


McCarty's resilience should come as no surprise to those who have followed his career, as he has previously endured brutal matches involving items like barbed wire and florescent light tubes in the independent circuit.


Before venturing into wrestling, McCarty played over 750 regular season games in the NHL, with an additional 174 playoff games under his belt. He spent the majority of his career with the Detroit Red Wings, winning all four of his Stanley Cups with the team, with a brief stint with the Calgary Flames during two seasons.
