Chicago Trades F Max Domi & G Dylan Wells to Dallas Stars

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded F Max Domi & G Dylan Wells to the Dallas Stars. Domi signed in Chicago over the offseason for one year, which makes him a pure rental.

Wells, a 5th round pick in 2016, has waivered back & forth between the AHL and ECHL for the last five seasons, appearing in just one game for Chicago.

In return, Chicago took back G Anton Khudobin's contract (LTIR) and a 2nd round pick.

Framework of the deal, but cap complications prevented one of the great spectacles in sports tonight: player walking across the hallway to his new team in same building.

The trade has not been officially announced, but Domi did sit out of Thursday's contest between the two sides.
