Parent goes on profanity-laced tirade against referee at U16 game (video)
There has been a lot of talk over the past couple of years over how hard it is to get officials for minor league hockey games. The reason likely isn't a mystery to anyone who has attended these games, and here's a perfect example.
Ian Kennedy of The Hockey News posted a video sent to him by someone who was in the crowd. A man went absolutely berserk verbally on a ref at the end of a U16 game in Almonte, Ontario. The video doesn't show exactly what happened, but it appears the game is over as both teams are shaking hands. The man tells the referee to f--k off and f--k you several times, while also throwing in several other insults as others watched. He goes on for almost a full minute before walking away. Warning: this video is NSFW and will likely get you some looks if you listen to it in public.
