Jordan Binnington had a great run after St. Louis Blues head coach Craig Berube called him out for his 'antics' earlier in the season. We hardly heard a peep out of him since then, but that was never going to last very long.
In Saturday's matchup between the Blues and the Colorado Avalanche, Binnington was front and center in a scrum. Clearly, the aftertaste from last season's playoff series still lingers.
After the game, Avalanche goaltender Alexandar Georgiev called out Binnington, saying Binnington's actions were 'dirty,' given that goaltenders are virtually untouchable in the pile.
Full quote: "I think it's a little dirty of their goalie knowing you're untouchable."
