In the midst of a stressful period in which his job is likely to be terminated any day now, Bruce Boudreau still has the support of the fanbase. Which - frankly - is awesome, as he is one of the NHL's Good Guys.
Canucks fans seem to be in agreement that the organization's problems run much, much deeper than the coaching staff. Before Frida night's game, fans brought signage showing solidarity with their head coach:
One sign reads, 'Bruce Deserves Better.' While the other reads, 'Sell the Team or Rebuild.' It's fairly clear fans are upset with ownership/management rather than Bruce Boudreau.
With their head coach likely gone any time now, fans gave Boudreau one last 'Bruce There It Is!' chant, which visibly tugged on his heart strings:
You just absolutely LOVE to see that, especially given how he's been treated of late.
