Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander David Price has decided to opt out of playing during the shortened 2020 MLB season. He made his announcement through an Instagram post Saturday afternoon.

The 34-year-old was acquired by the Dodgers this off-season in the blockbuster deal that saw Mookie Betts leave Boston for sunny LA.

Price joins the likes of Ryan Zimmerman and Joe Ross of the Washington Nationals who have also announced they will not be participating in the 2020 season due to health concerns.
