Connor McDavid is so good, that he will score a goal no one else can score and the mass reaction is, 'that's it?'
He was shot out of a cannon, scoring his league-leading 26th goal in his 4-point performance on Tuesday night. This guy is insane.
In '22-23, McDavid is on pace for a cool 161 points, which would be the highest NHL total since Mario Lemieux scored the same total in '95-96. Before Lemieux, Gretzky was the last to hit the total since '90-91.
The fact that Connor McDavid is scoring at this level in today's era of hockey is nothing short of spectacular. If only the Oilers could figure out a way to win something during his time there...
