Just a couple hours after the incident, the NHL's Department of Player Safety has summoned Jeff Skinner for a hearing with regards to Friday night's cross check on Penguins forward Jake Guentzel.
A hearing - given the severity of the incident - likely means Skinner is facing a suspension. Auston Matthews was suspended two games for a similar play in '21-22, so Parros and company will likely use that as precedent.
