The weeks leading up to March 3rd's trade deadline will be busy as usual and one of the teams expected to be the most active is the Chicago Blackhawks.

Not only will there be a lot of speculation from now until 3 p.m. ET on March 3rd about the future of Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews in Chicago, but there are a handful of other names that will garner interest, including Max Domi.

During a recent edition of 'News of the Weekes' on ESPN, insider Kevin Weekes mentioned that if the Blackhawks are going to trade Domi, one of the teams that could be interested in the Edmonton Oilers.

"Well here's the thing, he hasn't pressed them. It's been a nice fit for them in Chicago so far with him. There's some thought that either he's going to do an extension, or to your point, a contending team, a buyer, may want his services. Perhaps, Edmonton," Weekes said.

Domi, 27, signed a one-year contract with the Blackhawks in July worth $3 million. So far, his time in Chicago has been pretty productive. In 22 games, he's put up 16 points (seven goals, nine assists), 33 penalty minutes and is a minus-seven.
