Just two days after a spirited bout between the New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers, the teams met for the second half of their home and home series. Tuesday night's matchup started with back to back tilts: Matt Martin (NYI) vs Zack MacEwen (PHI) and Ross Johnston (NYI) vs Nic Deslauriers (PHI).

These fights came in response to a 46-penalty minute third period between the teams just two nights ago. Islanders' forward Oliver Wahlstrom and Flyers' defenseman Tony DeAngelo dropped the gloves in a heated bout of their own. Neither player is particularly known for fighting, despite Wahlstrom's 6'2" 205lb size advantage over DeAngelo's 5'11" 180lb frame.

Tonight's fights occurred in the first 10 seconds of the match. There is still 59 minutes of opportunity remaining to settle any remaining diagreements.
