One of the cardinal sins in hockey is running an opposing team's goaltender.
When that happens, one needs to expect some form of retaliation from the other team 10-times-out-of-10. Robert Bortuzzo was on the receiving end of such a response, even though he didn't even run the goalie; he was clearly nudged into Andrei Vasilevskiy by Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev.
Four Lightning players threw their gloves down and jumped Bortuzzo as though he chose to run into their goalie. Shoving players into your own goalie is among the most donkey-brained thing one can do, as you're basically trying to hurt your own goalie.
Luckily Vasilevskiy wasn't injured or anything, but it was still a boneheaded thing for Sergachev to do.
