As announced by the National Hockey League on Thursday, Phase Two of the league's Return To Play Plan has begun.

In Phase Two, teams will be permitted to re-open club facilities on June 8th. With the re-openings, teams will be permitted to host up to six players at a time, along with limited staff for individual on-and-off ice workouts.

At this time, all workouts will be held in a voluntary capacity, with the NHL very clearly specifying that these workouts will not be a substitute for training camp, prior to the start of the 24-team formatted 19-20 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The league's statement, issued Thursday, also stated that all required preparation for player participation, including diagnostic testing and scheduling of medicals can begin immediately.

At this time, the NHL and NHLPA are still working to reach an agreement on the resumption of play.
