I pity any player who gets the task of trying to shut down Connor Bedard right now. Going into Thursday night's WHL game between the Regina Pats and Winnipeg Ice, Bedard already had 43 points (18G, 25A) in just 20 games with the Pats this season. He wasted no time getting going in this one, scoring the opening goal just 10 seconds into the game.
Bedard managed to snag an errant pass near the center ice mark in the first couple of seconds. From there, the 17-year-old worked his usual magic, dancing around anyone who got in his way. That included the goaltender. Bedard has generational talent written all over him, and he shows why here.
