Luke Kunin Catches Jason Robertson with Big Open Ice Hit
Jason Robertson has been quietly one of the NHL's best young players with 144 points in his first 141 games. Carrying the puck through the middle, San Jose forward Luke Kunin caught him with an open-ice hit that could have ended way worse.
Stars defenseman Ryan Suter approached Kunin in defense of his young teammate, but nothing came of it.
While we are here...Dallas absolutely CRUSHED the 2017 draft. With three picks in the first two rounds, the Stars drafted Miro Heiskanen at #4, Jake Oettinger at #26, and Robertson at 39. Talk about building through the draft, jeez!
