It was one of those nights where the goaltender probably deserved a better outcome, but didn't get it. Jaroslav Halak of the New York Rangers had a solid game Sunday night against the Detroit Red Wings, but would take the loss in overtime due to a nice feed and goal by David Perron and Dominik Kubalik. Halak, who had over 30 saves in the contest, was clearly frustrated, and took out that anger on his stick.

Halk has had a tough season so far for the Rangers, going 0-3-1 in four starts, with a .882 save percentage and a 3.49 goals against average. There's no questions he'd like to be better.
