Patrick Kane has been the subject of trade rumors over the past two seasons, as the Blackhawks have entered one of the oddest rebuilds in NHL history. Kane is still a top-notch player in the league, and he would bolster any contenders' chances at a Stanley Cup.

The Athletic's staff voted on the top teams that would be most likely to acquire Kane, and the New York Rangers came in first place. Kane is from New York, so it does make sense for a return to home. The next two teams in the vote were the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes. The Oilers would be a scary fit as it is crazy to imagine a first line of Draisaitl-McDavid-Kane or even E. Kane-McDavid-P. Kane.

Even at age 33, Kane has had a great start to the season putting up 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) in 10 games. The Hawks currently sit fourth in the Central Division with 10 points (4-4-2 record) in 10 games.
