Every Monday, the NHL recognizes three players who were among the best of the best during the previous week. Today, the National Hockey League announced the 'Three Stars of the Week' for October 24th to October 30th.

The third star of the week was Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. Fleury went 3-0-0 last week with wins coming against the Montreal Canadiens on October 25th, Ottawa Senators on October 27th and the Chicago Blackhawks, yesterday.

New Jersey Devils forward Jesper Bratt was named second star of the week. In four games, the 24-year-old had seven points (four goals, three assists), including a three-point performance against the Detroit Red Wings on October 25th.

Finally, Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid took top spot, being named first star of the week. The Newmarket (Ontario) native had eight points (four goals, four assists) in four games, which included a hat-trick and one assist on October 27th against the Chicago Blackhawks.
