It is rare enough that Patrick Kane takes a shot like this, and Max Domi had better jump to his defense. Jost dumped Kane - not dirty, per se, but I get why Domi took exception.

Domi and Jost each took five-for-fighting, but Domi also received an Instigator penalty as well as a game misconduct. Tyson Jose was assessed a two-minute minor for boarding on the original hit, and Patrick Kane did not sustain an injury on the play.

All in all, I would say everyone got what they had coming, although perhaps one could argue that Domi did not deserve to be tossed from the game.
