For the first time since signing a two-year deal with the San Jose Sharks in the off-season, forward Oskar Lindblom returned to Philadelphia and was given a video tribute by the organization.

His video tribute was then followed by a standing ovation by the Flyers faithful and the Galve (Sweden) native came off the bench to acknowledge the crowd.
The 26-year-old was drafted by the Flyers in the fifth round in 2014 and spent parts of five seasons with them. In 263 career games with Philadelphia, Lindblom had 97 points (50 goals, 47 assists), 63 penalty minutes and was a minus-21.
During his time with the Flyers, Lindblom was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a type of cancer. He underwent chemotherapy and was able to return to the Flyers lineup for part of 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs, when they faced the Islanders in the second round. His remarkable return earned Lindblom the 2021 Bill Masterton Trophy.
