The Calgary Flames went out and acquired Jonathan Huberdeau in the Matthew Tkachuk trade, and it seems that head coach Darryl Sutter is more than happy with the acquisition. He gave him high praise on Monday speaking to media.

"Jonathan Huberdeau is probably the best passer that this team has had, maybe ever."

Huberdeau is in line to replace star winger Johnny Gaudreau who signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets this offseason. He is more than capable as well, as he tallied 30 goals and led the league with 85 assists last season.

The Flames franchise record for assists in a single season is currently held by Kent Nilsson with 82, and Huberdeau has a solid chance of breaking that record with another season like last year.
