Matt Benning reveals hilarious characteristic Tomas Hertl is known for around the team

The San Jose Sharks had a somewhat quiet offseason, rounding out their roster with mostly just depth players. Nico Sturm, Matt Benning, Markus Nutivaara, and Steven Lorentz were brought into bolster the bottom half of the forward and defense cores. So, as with any team with new players, the organization took a bit of a learning process to get used to.

One of the Sharks' newcomers, defenseman Matt Benning had an interesting fact about fan favorite Tomas Hertl, who is now going to be in his 10th season with the team.

According to San Jose Hockey Now's Sheng Peng, Benning may have gave the quote of the preseason.




It is pretty common knowledge that hockey players have bigger quads and glutes than the common person due to how much skating is needed to play the game, but it is rather comical that a group of men can still show their young side in a serious business.
