The Los Angeles Kings have locked up their final restricted free agent on Thursday.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth $2.4 million ($1.7 million AAV) with defenceman Sean Durzi. The deal will see Durzi earn $1.4 million in 2022-23 and $2 million in 2023-24.
Durzi, 23, had a strong rookie campaign with the Los Angeles Kings. In 64 games, the Mississauga native recorded 27 points (three goals, 24 assists), 55 penalty minutes and was a minus-nine. He went on to add three points in seven games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Despite having shoulder surgery in late-May, it's expected that Durzi will be good to go and on the ice for the start of training camp next week.
