Junior hockey team captain dies abruptly in arena
Ayr Centennials junior hockey team captain Eli Palfreyman died abruptly on Tuesday night. The news of the death was released Wednesday morning by the team.
«The Ayr Centennials are devastated to announce that our captain Eli Palfreyman passed away last night,» Brian Shantz, the vice-president of the Centennials, said in a statement.
«We are asking for your prayers and support for Eli's family and each of our players. Our Centennials organization and the community of Ayr are in mourning.»

Out of respect for the family, the team will not be releasing any details on the death yet, but more answers will be coming soon.

The only details surrounding his death is the fact that it happened at a game on Tuesday night, but nothing else has been released. Prayers go out to Palfreyman's family, friends, and his team, the Ayr Centennials.
