EA Sports releases trailer for NHL 23, details regarding new features in the game
One day after unveiling the cover for NHL 23 featuring Trevor Zegras and Sarah Nurse, EA Sports released the trailer and details for the new game.
The biggest detail is that for the first-time in the history of the EA Sports NHL franchise, gamers will be able to play over cross-platform. If you have Xbox One and your friend has a PS4, you'll be able to play an online match against each other, same with Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
Also for the first time, gamers in Hockey Ultimate Team will be able to use IIHF Women's National Team members and can be added to any roster.
Users will have more control in Franchise Mode in NHL 23 than any year before. You'll be to change how many teams are in your league, how many games are in each playoff series, as well as other changes that will impact your organization.
In-game atmosphere is getting an upgrade to make it seem like you're actually in an NHL arena. Another note, as for the Arizona Coyotes, they won't be playing in Mullett Arena, but EA Sports have made a smaller-capacity rink to accurately reflect their current arena situation.
