EA Sports unveils cover athletes for NHL 23
With the full reveal of NHL 23 coming on Thursday, EA Sports decided to announce who will grace the cover of this year's edition of the game.
Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras and Canadian women's national team forward Sarah Nurse have been chosen as this year's cover athletes. This marks the first time that EA Sports has put a women's player on the cover of an NHL game.
One feature in the game that has been revealed is that you'll be able to pull off the lacrosse-style alley-oop pass that Trevor Zegras and Sonny Milano did during a game last December against the Buffalo Sabres.
"As someone who has played EA SPORTS NHL since I was kid, it is a dream come true to be on the cover this year with Sarah," said Zegras. "I can't wait to play this year's version with my friends and teammates, and I am equally excited to see fans unleash my Michigan flip pass, which the team at EA SPORTS has managed to get into the game."
