Canada is absolutely buzzing out of the gate, owning the share of chances over Finland early on. After yet another great play from Mason McTavish (ANA), Jatkola left a juicy rebound in front for Joshua Roy (MTL), who quickly tapped in the rebound:
1-0 Canada early, which is not a favorable position to anyone looking to win a gold medal against Team Canada in Canada. The Finns made a strong enough push in the latter half of the first, but they have a lofty task ahead of them.
