German F Alexander Blank went to throw a hit and jazz up his team--currently losing 3-1--but Finnish F Kalle Vaisanen was having none of it, hitting his opponent with a clean, textbook reverse hit. Moritz Seider-style:
Who doesn't love a nice reverse-hit? One guy thinks he's laying the boom and next thing he knows, he's brushing snow off of himself and rethinking all of his life choices. I love it.
Being on the reverse end of a reverse-hit might be the most humiliating experience an athlete can endure. Initiating contact just to eat ice. Brutal.
Finnish backup goalie Juha Jatkola was loving it too, thanks to TSN analyst Craig Button for the reenactment. Really pulls the whole clip together, if we're being honest.
