The Arizona Coyotes have agreed to terms with goaltender David Tendeck on a three-year entry-level contract, the team announced late Monday. Tendeck was drafted by the Coyotes in the sixth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

Tendeck was in the midst of his fourth season with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL prior to the league being suspended. He was having his best season to date with a 2.29 goals against average (GAA) and a .920 save percentage (SV%). His goals against was the fifth lowest in the entire league. With his junior career now wrapped up, he finishes with a 72-54-6-4 record, 10 shutouts, a 2.96 GAA and a .905 SV%.

The 20-year-old Vancouver native will make his professional debut next season, but it remains to see what league he will start out in. The terms on his contract have not yet been announced.
