Major League Baseball's investigation into the cheating allegations against the Boston Red Sox is complete, but any published report has not yet been made available, commissioner Rob Manfred told ESPN's Scott Van Pelt Wednesday.

"We are done with the investigation," Manfred said. "There's been a delay in terms of producing a written report, just because I, frankly, have not had time to turn to it with the other issues. But we will get a Boston report out before we resume play."

The Red Sox were under an investigation to determine if they had illegally stolen signs during their 2018 World Series season. Even though the results have not yet been made available to the public, the Red Sox have already announced that they disagree with the league's findings.

This probe into the organization follows the investigation into the Houston Astros, who were found to have illegally stolen signs throughout their 2017 World Series season.

The release of the investigation's findings and regular season has been delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
