Flyers re-sign forward Morgan Frost
The Philadelphia Flyers announced on Friday that they've signed restricted free agent forward Morgan Frost to a one-year, one-way contract worth $800,000.
Frost, 23, spent the majority of the 2021-22 season in the NHL with the Flyers, appearing in 55 games. In those 55 games, he had sixteen points (five goals, eleven assists), fourteen penalty minutes and was a minus-eleven. He also played in 24 games in the American Hockey League, putting up nineteen points (six goals, thirteen assists).
The Aurora (Ontario) native was selected in the first round (27th overall) by the Flyers in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Over the course of his time in the organization, Frost has appeared in 77 NHL games.
