According to John Matisz of theScore, the St. Louis Blues have signed 2022 Calder Cup Playoff MVP Josh Leivo to a one-year, one-way contract worth $750,000.
Leivo, 29, spent the majority of the 2021-22 season in the American Hockey League with the Chicago Wolves. In 54 regular season games, Leivo had 46 points (22 goals, 24 assists), 38 penalty minutes and was a plus-ten. He then went on to add 29 points in eighteen games during the Calder Cup Playoffs, earning MVP honours.
The Innisfil (Ontario) native has appeared in 214 career NHL games across parts of nine seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames and the Carolina Hurricanes.
