The Seattle Kraken announced on Wednesday the signing of Shane Wright to an entry-level contract. The young forward dropped to fourth overall after being the consensus number one pick.
The Kraken have a great future down the middle as having Matty Beniers and Wright as your top two centers seems to be an incredible pairing.
Wright will have a good shot at making the opening night roster with the Kraken, as the team struggled last year in their inaugural season. Wright also believes that he is ready for the NHL, and has something to prove after dropping in the 2022 NHL Draft.
