Blues goalie prospect Joel Hofer scores goal in AHL Playoffs (video)
St. Louis Blues goaltending prospect Joel Hofer scored in a Calder Cup Playoff game on Thursday night.
With the score 4-2 late in the third period, Hofer had the puck behind his own net and shot it the length of the ice into the empty net to give his team, the Springfield Falcons, a 5-2 lead.
Springfield would go on to win the game by a score of 6-2 and take a 2-0 series lead in a best-of-five series with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The Falcons can win the series on Sunday afternoon and advance to the Atlantic Division Final.
