Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf played his final road game on Saturday night and it happened to be against their rivals, the Los Angeles Kings.

Following the game, the Los Angeles Kings lined up to shake Getzlaf's hand, a sign of respect for the 36-year-old who announced earlier this month that this would be his final season in the National Hockey League.

The officiating crew from Saturday's game also stayed behind to shake his hand, as did the Kings' training and equipment staff, and Kings head coach Todd McLellan.

Ryan Getzlaf will play in his final game in the National Hockey League on Sunday night as the Ducks host the St. Louis Blues at 8:30 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed nationally across Canada on Sportsnet360, West and Pacific.
