Connor Bedard, the projected number one pick at the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, is back on the international stage starting on Saturday at the U18 World Championship in Germany.
Canada opened their tournament against their rivals, the United States, on Saturday afternoon and Bedard did not disappoint, scoring a goal from a ridiculous angle.
The 16-year-old received a pass in the slot and used patience to take the puck down to the goal line where the he beats the goaltender right under the bar.
