After a lengthy, multi-year back & forth Wayne Simmonds & Pat Maroon had their long-awaited fight.
The two were jawing at each other early in a heavyweight matchup between Toronto & Tampa Bay:
During the first intermission, Simmonds was asked about their beef & had words for Maroon:
Maroon must have heard Simmonds' words & acted swiftly because the two dropped the gloves the next period:
This one was about as even a fight as you can see, but I'm sure these two will go again. Especially if they meet in the playoffs, which looks pretty likely.
