Steven Stamkos On the Verge of Lightning Scoring Title, Ties St. Louis

Steven Stamkos scored three points in Tuesday's defeat at the hands of the Detroit Red Wings. With those three points, he ties Martin St. Louis for Tampa Bay's all-time scoring lead with 953; he will surely break that record sooner than later.

Stamkos has been injury prone in recent years, but he has had an illustrious career, and it doesn't look like he's close to being done.

He's scored at a pretty unreal clip, totaling 33g-54a-87p in 75 games, which is 11 shy of his career best. He probably won't hit that number, but he has had a great season after missing lots of games the last two seasons.
