Stanley Cup Playoff clinching scenarios for April 17th

On Saturday, three teams booked their spot in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, those teams being the Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames and St. Louis Blues.

Two more spots are up for grabs on Sunday, including the final place in the Eastern Conference. Let's take a look at how the Minnesota Wild and Washington Capitals can clinch a berth in the playoffs.

The Minnesota Wild will clinch a playoff spot:

- If they get at least one point against the San Jose Sharks.

The Washington Capitals will clinch a playoff spot:

- If the Toronto Maple Leafs defeat the New York Islanders in regulation.
