Colton Parayako of the St. Louis Blues decided to have some fun with the referee during a recent game. While the footage is just making its rounds on social media now, live mics caught a funny moment between Parayako and an official during a game against the Edmonton Oilers on April 1st.
Parayako had the puck behind his own net as the Blues completed a line change. Getting impatient with the slow play, the referee yells at Parayako to "move it!", meaning get the play going.
"I can do whatever I want," Parayako yelled back.
The official seemed to take it in stride, replying with a simple, sarcastic "really?"
