Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs is the NHL's reigning Rocket Richard Trophy winner as the league's top goal scorer, and it looks like he's deadset on a repeat as he continues to put up goals in bunches. Matthews set two new records in a game against the Dallas Stars last night where he scored two goals, including the overtime winner. After getting the game-winning-goal in OT, Matthews made sure to taunt the crowd a bit. Check it out

With 56 goals on the season, Matthews has now officially passed Rick Vaive for the most goals in a season for the Toronto Maple Leafs, a team with one of the longest histories in the NHL (he needed to get to 55 to do that). Besides that, he now has the most goals in a season by an American-born player ever in NHL history.
