EA Sports to follow IIHF's lead with Russian and Belarusian teams in NHL 22
EA Sports announced on Wednesday that they are removing the Russian and Belarusian national teams from NHL 22.
In their statement, EA Sports said, "Following the IIHF's suspension of all Russian and Belarusian national and club teams from IIHF competitions, we will be removing these teams from NHL 22 within the coming weeks.
We stand with the people of Ukraine and join the voices around the world calling for peace."

In December, EA Sports reached an agreement with the International Ice Hockey Federation to include logos, jerseys, etc. for men's and women's teams in NHL 22. They also included the Men's World Championship, World Juniors, and Women's World Championship.
