Sean Avery's bid to get back to playing hockey appears to be going his way.

According to multiple reports, including Avery himself, he's been training with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, and may have a deal with the team very soon.

Avery posted a video to his Instagram account stating he was in Winter Park, Florida and had just dropped off his equipment at the Solar Bears' rink.

Despite not even skating for 10 years, Avery, 41, recently stated he wanted to make a comeback and was hoping to sign a deal with an NHL team for the 2022-23 season. Avery last played pro hockey in 2011-12 when he suited up for the NHL's New York Rangers, and Connecticut Whale of the AHL.

Avery is a very controversial figure in the world of hockey. He is known for saying and doing whatever he wants, whenever he wants, regardless of what others may think. He also displayed that attitude on the ice in several incidents.
